Welp, I fixed the meta data on my books. If you put into the keyword search 'medieval inspired mystery', 'political intrigue,' 'spies,' or 'Family loyalty,' my works should pop up in your preferred bookstore search.

But more importantly, I had to inspect my markets for the first time in a while. I hadn't realized that 'What Hides Below's print copy never went wide. For some reason, I had only put the e-book version on D2D, and you could only get the print version from Amazon.

Dumb.

Now for all of you with an allergy to Bezos or a preference for the Nevermore formatting style that D2D provides, you can get a print version. Honestly, given that 'What Hides Below' is about a mine collapsing on a little boy and the landlord's representative being more concerned about getting the miners back to work than whether the mine is safe (mines are never safe. Mining has ranked as one of the least safe occupations since the Bronze Age,) it kind of fits.

It's also an excellent choice for those who like folkloric touches in their mysteries, as mine kobolds and house kobolds make an appearance in this book.

What are kobolds?

They are a type of elf/spirit that are place specific. They are generally depicted as little men who hang out in places such as mines and will do things like knock on walls to warn of impending floods. They often act like poltergeists, throwing things around when they feel that the moral order has been transgressed against. If a household wants to keep them sweet, they will bury gifts of clothes or food under the hearth or dress a doll with the clothes they are giving to the kobold and put the doll in a conspicuous spot.

You'll find out more about them in my book. It should be available in most online bookstores by mid-September but is available as an e-book in most places now.
