No, Stranger on the Phone, I'm Not Interested in Traditional Publishing

There are many ways for the rando on the phone to have found out about my books. It's not a secret; it's on Linkedin, here, on Medium. Whoever this was need merely google 'books.' And why should this rando be interested? They are all standard mystery/thriller stories. Real agents will receive a million such submissions every day.
So, when the strange number popped up on my cell phone, asking if Vivian would be interested in being traditionally published, I promised to take a message to her.
They had heard of my 'work.' Huh. No title mentioned. No agency name given.
But let's put aside the whole scam vibe, shall we?
Why should I listen to an agent when my books are now available in Barnes & Nobles, Smashwords, and Kobo? Why should I bother paying for someone to shop around manuscripts that are already beautiful and in stores? A part of whatever sells is already going to the people at Draft2Digital and Amazon- they get paid when I get paid, which is how this is supposed to work. The book cover is already paid for, editor is already compensated, and I would have to do my own marketing no matter what route I took. Why should I change course?
I don't want to be famous or have my books on the best seller lists- those are scams anyway. I just want my art to be available- a reminder to the universe that I existed.
